On Saturday April 5th, over 5.2 million people across the U.S. showed up to say HANDS OFF democracy and fight the oligarchy. Hundreds more Hands Off protesters were also seen in several European countries and in Guadalajara, Mexico. The American working class will not sit by while President Trump and his plutocrats profit off the destruction of American democracy. These international protests are proof that there is power in numbers and that courage is contagious! Today the work continues!
Ways to Help:
Use the 5 Calls app or Resist Bot to contact your elected officials—every single day. It takes five minutes. Call, text, email—make your voice impossible to ignore.
Demand town halls. Show up at their public appearances. Let them know how the Trump agenda is hurting your family—and that you vote.Â
Boycott the corporations funding this hostile takeover. Hit them where it hurts: their bottom line.
Talk to your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. Don’t let them sleep through this moment. Help them understand what’s at stake—and how to get involved. Find an event near you!Â
Build community power—connect with local community service organizations and offer to volunteer or hold a drive for food/supplies.Â
Share protest footage, updates, and facts on social media. Amplify the truth—because the billionaires are trying to drown it out. Be informed about your digital safety!
Sign this open letter to call on Congress to act against the White House’s refusal to obey federal court orders!Â
Be an informed protestor, check out these list of resources before you head back to the streets. Know your rights!
